Flip factory

Flip Factory was created from my experience at Ghana’s Kantamanto Market, where I saw the harsh reality of global fashion waste firsthand. I witnessed how our discarded clothing ends up as environmental waste, with nearly 40% of the garments sent there ending up on local beaches and in the ocean.

Seeing this changed how I viewed fashion forever, sparking a need to take action. I taught myself to sew with one goal in mind: to intercept thrift waste and give quality fabrics a second life. By reworking textiles into one-of-a-kind “flips,” I’m working to keep textiles out of landfills and off of shorelines. Every piece you buy is a stand against waste and a step toward a more circular, intentional future.
